STATE OPEN-SPRINTS

Although the ECC only managed a 7'th place for the Fitch girls 4x100 relay, and an 8'th place for the Montville boys 4x100 relay, there were some longtime state records broken in these showcase events.

BOYS 100M below

Glenn McFadden of Hillhouse set a State & State-Open record with a 10.36 in the 100meters.
That's a good .1 sec. better than the old record.

Glenn (above and below) proved his 100m win was no fluke as he broke the State & State-Open records for the 200 meters as well in 20.86. The 200 is considered the truest test for speed, and he was .2 sec. better than the old record.

Jenny Worth (in Ledyard blue & white) barely missed the 200m finals, finishing 9'th
